Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into vast, palm-dotted savannah. It is crossed by the Nile – the longest river as it flows north-wards to the Mediterranean. First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, it is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at the airport and transfer to No.5 Boutique Hotel in Entebbe for accommodation. We shall have dinner and refreshments and prepare for Day 2 transfer to Kibale Forest National Park via Kampala City.

Day 2

After a healthy morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, The Primate Capital of the World. You will enjoy  a warm en-route lunch and savory roadside snack as we drive through the green lush of vegetation and hospitable communities. We shall arrive in the evening at Kigambira lodge for dinner and an overnight as we get ready for Chimp tracking the next day.

Day 3

After breakfast, our guide will take us on an adventure experience of chimp tracking through the thickets and tropical forest of Kibale. This will take us about 2-8 hours and you will be able to have an up-close experience with these amazing cousins of ours. You will also be able to spot different bird species, monkeys, baboons and forest elephants. You will return for lunch at the lodge and prepare for an evening community encounter to Bigodi sanctuary. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight and prepare for transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park the next day.

Day 4

Afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel and an overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. At the park, you shall enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains which may reward you with sightings of the various animals like huge herds of the Ugandan kob, elephants, leopard, lion, buffalos, warthogs and antelope etc. Later after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on Kaziga channel. This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine bee eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron among others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight.

Day 5

Transfer to Bwindi Forest National park. You will set off and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. This forest is home to the magnificent giant mountain gorillas in Bwindi and a variety of other forest primates including the blue monkey as well as a wealth of bird life. Dinner and peaceful overnight in/near Bwindi National Park. Accommodation at the booked lodge.

Day 6

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi – Life-time memorable experience. After morning breakfast, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas in Uganda this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience’ as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. This may take you about 4-5 hrs in the jungle. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight at the lodge. Accommodation at the booked lodge.

Day 7

After a healthy breakfast, prepare return back to Kampala. Along the journey, you will enjoy warm lunch break. Proceed to Kampala / Entebbe airport or drop off back to your hotel.
