Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into vast, palm-dotted savannah. It is crossed by the Nile – the world’s longest river as it flows north-wards to the Mediterranean. First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, it is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds

Day 1: Arrival

After breakfast at 7.00am, you depart Kampala from your hotel and head to Murchison Falls National Park via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos that got wiped out in the Ugandan wild are being bred before they can be re-introduced back into the national parks. We shall have en-route lunch before we head for Rhino tracking in the afternoon. After tracking, you’ll head to Murchison Falls National Park for dinner and an overnight  at Sambiya Lodge as you get ready for the game drive and boat cruise the next day.

Day 2

You will have an early rise at 6:00am and head for an early morning game drive, where you will able to see variety of wildlife and early risers and nocturnals. This will run up to around 10:00am before you head back to your lodge for breakfast and a brunch before heading for a boat cruise and top of the falls. You’ll return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner, and prepare to head back to Kampala the next day.

Day 3

After breakfast, our guide will drive us back to Entebbe through Luwero, where you’ll be able to buy some fresh fruits to enjoy. We shall have en-route lunch, Coffee break and buying souvenirs you can carry home. We then shall drive to Kampala/Entebbe where we shall end our trip.
